Sometimes we find ourselves at work, at school, at home in a situation where we can not understand how another person can view same situation so differently from us or can find different things irritating or amusing. Sometimes we see somebody for the very first time and we either immediately have good or bad feeling toward this person, though we don’t even know him/her.
Looking at the animal signs, let’s explore these differences by allowing us an insight into our natures and personalities.
This knowledge will let us get to know ourselves and also others better and will let us accept others easier.
In many companies in Asia, the knowledge of Chinese astrology, correlations between horoscope signs, is one of the few criteria when choosing new employees, getting married and also when choosing the year to give birth to a new child.
There are 12 animal signs in the Chinese horoscope like there are 12 in the Western one.
When you look at the compass, you will see that each of the 12 animals occupies 15 degrees in the direction on the compass.
How to check which animal signs are we?
It is very easy; all you need to know is your year of birth. The beginning of the Chinese year is not set because the year is lunar based, and our modern era uses solar dates. It differs every year and it is dependent from the phases of the moon. People who are either born in January or February need to check when in each year the lunar year started during their respective year of birth.
In the form below you can find out which animal sign you are.
In the Chinese calendar, animal signs are known as earthly branches and they each have matching compass direction.
Check which of these directions are yours and make sure it is not missing or is not afflicted in your house, because it corresponds to your well being and your fortune.

The cycle of 12 (12 animals) is repeated 5 times to form a cycle of 60 years. In each of them, each animal is governed by an element which determines its intrinsic nature and is either yin or yang. In the cycle of 60 years a single animal sign has 5 different characteristic even though they are the same animal sign.
